ROAD WORKS ON GREAT EASTERN HIGHWAY, KELLERBERRIN

Main Roads Western Australia and ALine East advise of road works on Great Eastern Highway at Kellerberrin, which will affect operators of oversize loads.

PERIOD

The initial drainage works are now complete. Further road works have started with completion expected by Friday, 30 April 2010.

The daily working hours are 7 am to 6 pm, including weekends and public holidays.

CONDITIONS

Lane closures will be in place intermittently and contra-flow configuration will be implemented.  Traffic control and speed restrictions will be in place both during and after the scheduled work hours.

The available lane width during these works is 4 metres with traffic management in place.

Operators of oversize loads wider than 4 metres must:

• contact the site at least 24 hours prior to the proposed move to ensure the load can be   accommodated; and
• have a minimum ground clearance of at least 1.2 metres.
