National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Auditor Certifiaction Scheme

The National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Auditor Certification Scheme becomes effective from 29 September 2008.
 
Main Roads Western Australia will no longer accept Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation compliance audits from Auditors who are not certified as Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (HVA) Auditors with the certifying body RABQSA.

Audits conducted prior to 29 September 2008 by Auditors who have not transitioned (i.e. non RABQSA certified HVA Auditors) will not be accepted after 31 October 2008.  Audits not provided by this date will become invalid, and the operator will be required to source a new auditor and undergo a new audit.

Main Roads Western Australia will no longer be maintaining HVA Auditor lists.  From 29 September 2008, RABQSA will be responsible for managing and maintaining the database of certified HVA Auditors.
