REMOVAL OF STANDING AUTHORITY FOR RECURRENT PERIODIC PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

Effective immediately, Main Roads advises of the discontinuation of the standing authority for recurrent periodic payment by credit card on permit applications for Restricted Access Vehicles (RAVs).

Operators are now required to provide their full credit card details on each individual application form, where payment by credit card is sought.

Currently in many cases permit processing is delayed while Main Roads staff contact operators to obtain alternate credit card details when authorised cards are found to be overdrawn, lost, stolen, or expired.

Please be advised that any permit applications received which do not have the full credit card details provided, will be returned.

Operators’ cooperation with this change is appreciated.
