Multi Modal Containers

As a result of consultation with Transport Industry representatives and other stakeholders, Main Roads has decided to permit the carriage of Multi Modal containers on vehicles up to a maximum laden height of 4.6 metres.

Conditions

A GEN.47 endorsement must be obtained from Main Roads" Heavy Vehicle Operations Branch. This endorsement must be attached to a Class 2/3 Restricted Access Vehicle Supplementary Permit and carried in the vehicle.
