ROAD WORKS ON THE AUSTRALIND BYPASS
Further to HVO Updates 11-2009 and 11A-2009, Main Roads Western Australia advises of a change of completion date for the road works underway on the Australind Bypass south of the Old Coast Road.
During the works, the road is restricted to two southbound lanes and one northbound lane of operation.
PERIOD
The new completion date is 31 December 2009.
CONDITIONS
Delays are to be expected and road users should consider alternative routes where possible.
The available lane width during these works is 3 metres with traffic management in place.
Operators of oversize loads wider than 3.0 metres must:
- contact the site at least 24 hours prior to their proposed move, to ensure that their load can be accommodated; and
- have a minimum ground clearance of at least 1.2 metres.
Operators of vehicles with a ground contact width in excess of 3.0 metres must find an alternative route.
