Data Lodgement Guideline

Link to the Data Lodgement Guideline for the lodgement of survey, mapping, geodetic and design data for Main Roads projects.

Main Roads Western Australia is responsible for providing a safe and efficient road network as part of an integrated Western Australian transport system. To assist in the efficient and effective delivery of its infrastructure construction program, Main Roads maintains a Contractor Prequalification System to enable it to make the best use of the resources of the civil engineering contracting industry.

The Prequalification System simplifies the tender process by establishing a group of contractors, ahead of time, capable of delivering quality works on time and budget. Contractors apply to become prequalified, demonstrating their capabilities, and if satisfactory are granted a category indicating the types of contracts they may be eligible for. The higher the category, the more complex the work required.

Prequalification is required for Category 1 (design and construct) and Category 2 (construct only) contracts. Contractors undertaking these contracts must be prequalified by the Request for Proposals closing date (Category 1) and by the date of calling a tender for Category 2 contracts.
