Our infrastructure delivery plan is an indication of proposed works above $3m and is subject to change. It covers both Categories 1 and 2 in the metropolitan and regional areas.
Infrastructure Delivery Policy Statement
We will deliver our infrastructure projects using a blend of delivery methods to ensure efficient and effective project delivery and promote a sustainable industry.
Principles
We are committed to:
- Relationship contracting;
- Adopting a project delivery selection framework to ensure projects are delivered by the most efficient and effective methods; and
- Building collaborative relationships with industry and key stakeholders in infrastructure planning and delivery.
Objectives
In applying these Principles, we aim to:
- Develop with industry, innovative and cost-effective delivery approaches enabling delivery flexibility and expansion of industry capability;
- Identify, understand and allocate risks to the party best able to manage that risk;
- Package projects to meet Main Roads and industry needs;
- Demonstrate leadership in building industry resource capability and capacity;
- Develop and maintain an Infrastructure Delivery Plan that utilises a blend of delivery methods to optimise Main Roads, Local Government and industry resources; and
- Communicate our Infrastructure Delivery Plan.
